Ondo election: APC expels lawmaker for alleged anti-party activities

During last Saturday's governorship election in the state, the Ondo State All Progressives Congress expelled a member of the state House of Assembly, Mrs Favour Tomowewo, over alleged anti-party activities.

Tomowewo, the only female senator in the Legislature, was among the nine lawmakers who rejected the state deputy governor's notice of impeachment, Mr Agboola Ajayi, a few months back.

Her suspension was found in a letter dated 12 October 2020 and signed by Mr Olagoke Ajimuda and Mr Omosule Taid, respectively, the Chairman and Secretary of Mahin Ward 4, Ilaje Constituency 2, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
