Senator Ishaku Abbo Pointing the Location of The Site For Proposed Dams in Mubi North
In the quest for better representation in the red chamber, Senator Ishaku Abbo of the Adamawa northern Senatorial district has announced the construction of Kwa - Betso road which was abandoned for years.
Senator Abbo took to his official Facebook handle to announce the approval of the project by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Agriculture.
The lawmaker, a member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development revealed that
In his statement Abbo said,
“The President also through the Ministry of Agriculture and rural development has awarded the contract for the construction of KWA – BETSO rural road in Mubi North, Adamawa Northern Senatorial District. This road has been abandoned for over 30 years.”
He appreciated Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari for initial approval to construct the Tsamiya – Bazza Road, linking Mubi and Michika which has been fully paid for by North East Development Commission (NEDC).
The Senator also revealed that the Hospital Road in Michika which he influenced was funded by NEDC.
In appreciation, the lawmaker thanked the Member House of Representatives, Hon Jafar Magaji of Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha, for his "support and understanding" he said.
While assuring his constituents, Abbo said that he believes that in the next few years every part of Adamawa would feel the impact of the Federal Government through its developmental projects.
