Adamawa Corps Members Win Millions of Naira in NYSC/Unity Bank Business Plan Competition
Adamawa Corps Members have won millions of Naira in the Adamawa Camp, thanks to the NYSC/Unity Bank Business Plan Competition.
The competition, named “Unity Bank CORPRENEURSHIP Challenge,” involved 10 shortlisted Corps Members who defended their business plans before a panel of judges.
The competition aimed to empower enterprising Corps Members with seed capital to support their business ideas.
Ali Olodu Obe of Platoon 5 emerged as the Overall Winner, taking home a prize of eight hundred thousand Naira (N800,000).
Rashida Haruna of Platoon 10 came in 2nd place and was awarded five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000), while Chong Precious Daniel, also of Platoon 10, won three hundred thousand Naira (N300,000) as the 2nd Runner-up.
The remaining 7 Corps Members received consolation prizes for their efforts.
The NYSC State Coordinator, Mal. Muhammed Lawan Ahmed, appreciated the Unity Bank for supporting the enterprising Corps Members with seed capital and commended the winners for their outstanding business ideas.
The program was monitored by the Unity Bank Regional Manager, Usman Salihu Bello, and supported by the Adamawa Branch Manager, Yahaya Bello Abbas, Relationship Officer, Mudassir Shehu, and a representative from Retail and SME Banking, Olalekan Ademikan, as well as other officers of the bank.
Adamawa Corps Members’ Victory
Several Corps Members in Adamawa have emerged winners in the NYSC/Unity Bank Business Plan Competition, earning millions of naira in prize money.
The competition, which was tagged “Unity Bank CORPRENEURSHIP Challenge,” involved ten shortlisted Corps Members who presented their individual business plans before a panel of judges.

The NYSC/Unity Bank Business Plan Competition is a platform created to empower Corps Members with seed capital to start their own businesses.
The competition provides an opportunity for Corps Members to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and get rewarded for their efforts.
The competition is open to all Corps Members across the country.
Million Naira Prize Award
At the end of the competition, Corps Member Ali Olodu Obe (AD/24A/2105) emerged as the Overall Winner and went home with the prize of eight hundred thousand naira (N800,000).
Rashida Haruna (AD/24A/1840) of Platoon 10 came second and was awarded the sum of five hundred thousand naira (N500,000).
The 2nd Runner-up was Chong Precious Daniel (AD/24A/2180), also of Platoon 10, who won the sum of three hundred thousand naira (N300,000).
Consolation Prizes were splashed to the remaining seven Corps Members (4th to 10th positions).
