A disciplinary committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Mubi South local government in Adamawa state has accused Alhaji Njobdi Sali Kwaja and suspended him from being the party's Kwaja ward chairman, according to the report.

Alhaji Sali was found guilty of tampering with the delegate's lists of Kwaja ward from the original lists by the committee, and his behaviour was judged to be unacceptable under Article 21 A (xi) of the party standards.

Sali was suspended after he failed to honour an invitation to defend himself over the allegations written against him, according to the disciplinary committee chairman, Mohammed A Mbila, in a letter of expulsion addressed to him and copied to APC state party chairman, APC North-East zone, Adamawa DSS, and Adamawa Police.

The letter of expulsion also suggested that Njobdi be prosecuted in a court of law, as stipulated in the APC's constitution's article 21 A (xi).

“You are requested to hand over all items and properties belonging to this party in your possession to your vice chairman, Alhaji Khali Bubar, and await prosecution.” The letter read

The decision was made after an executive meeting of all APC stakeholders in Mubi South Local Government convened at the party headquarters on September 22, 2021, approved the disciplinary committee's recommendations regarding Aljaji Sali's modification of Ward delegates lists.
