Celebrating New Royal Leaders: A Message Of Unity And Progress

It is with great joy and heartfelt congratulations that I celebrate the newly selected Royal Highnesses:

  1. HRH Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu: Emir of Fufore
  2. HRH Barrister Alheri B. Nyako: Tol Huba
  3. HRH Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga: Mbege Ka Michika
  4. HRH Dr. Ali Danburam (MBBS, FWACP, FCCP): Ptil Madagali
  5. HRH Aggrey Ali: Kumu of Gombi
  6. HRH Ahmadu Saibaru: Emir of Maiha
  7. HRH John Dio: Gubo Yungur

May your reigns be long, fruitful, and impactful, bringing governance closer to the people and fostering peace, harmony, and inclusivity at the grassroots level. Your leadership marks a new chapter in advancing the unity and development of our beloved communities.

This historic moment is more than a ceremonial milestone; it is a reaffirmation of the enduring significance of traditional leadership in uniting communities, resolving conflicts, and safeguarding our shared legacy.

I must also commend His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, for his commitment to democratic values and his dedication to meeting the aspirations of the people of Adamawa State. Through his visionary leadership and adherence to due process, Governor Fintiri has once again demonstrated what true democracy entails—serving the people and catalyzing unprecedented positive change and development across the state.

As we celebrate this milestone, I urge all the good people of Adamawa State to embrace this new era of leadership with open hearts. Let us unite, work together, and continue to live in peace and harmony, ensuring a brighter future for all.

Ishaya Inuwa Durkwa
Executive Officer, International Organization for Peacebuilding and Social Justice
