The 40-year-old football icon has been in a relationship with the Spanish model, 31, since 2016. Together, they share two daughters—seven-year-old Alana and two-year-old Bella. Georgina has also embraced the role of stepmother to Ronaldo’s three other children. Despite their long-term commitment, according to Daily Mail, the couple has never confirmed an engagement, leaving fans speculating about their next big step.

The conversation about marriage resurfaced in Georgina’s Netflix reality series, I Am Georgina. The model revealed that her friends constantly tease her about the long-awaited wedding. “They’re always joking about the wedding. ‘When is the wedding?’ Since Jennifer Lopez’s song El Anillo came out, they started singing it to me. And well, this is not up to me,” she said.

But Ronaldo remains firm in his stance. He insists that marriage will only happen when the timing feels right. “I always tell her, ‘when we get that click.’ Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about,” Ronaldo explained. “It could be in a year, in six months, or even in a month. Georgina, on the other hand, shared glimpses of her birthday surprises on Instagram. She received a bouquet of roses shaped into a heart, a personalized pink gift bag of her own perfume brand Laverne, and a cake. One heartfelt note from a loved one read, “One of a kind piece for a one-of-a-kind Georgina.” It remains unclear if these gifts came from Ronaldo himself.

While the couple hasn’t made their marriage official, Ronaldo has frequently referred to Georgina as his wife. At the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, where he bagged two trophies, he said, “It’s a big pleasure to win this trophy. My oldest son is here; my wife [Georgina] is here.”
