Finally, Fintiri Dissolves Adamawa United's Board After Plea For Change by Indigene

After receiving complaints from concerned citizens about the performance of Adamawa United Football Club and the board's bad management, Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, approved the dissolution of the club's management board.

The governor's News Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, stated in a press release that the development was important to re-energize the football club.

The governor praised members of the previous management for their contributions, according to the statement, and instructed the dissolved management to turn over all government property in their control to the sports ministry.

“Governor Fintiri commended the management for working hard to nurture the club and take it to where it is today. Government will not allow the club go down but will ensure it consolidates on the gains so far”, the statement read.

According to the statement, the government's decision was guided by the urgent necessity to inject fresh blood and rejuvenate in order to recover the club's lost grandeur.
