Senator Amos Yohanna, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, has extended a goodwill message to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, celebrating his six years in office as a period marked by transformational leadership and developmental milestones across Adamawa State.

In the statement, which also recognized the Governor’s wife, Hajiya Lami Umaru Fintiri, and the people of Adamawa, Senator Yohanna described the anniversary as a moment of pride for the state and an affirmation of Fintiri’s leadership credentials.

“I, on behalf of my family, my office, and the good people of Adamawa North, extend heartfelt congratulations to our astute, reliable and goal-oriented Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri,” the Senator stated.

Senator Yohanna emphasized that it was a privilege to serve alongside Governor Fintiri’s administration at such a crucial time, pointing out that the Governor’s approach to governance is driven by social justice, strategic vision, and concrete delivery of public expectations.

“The people of Adamawa are deeply impressed and count themselves lucky to have an uncommon leader at the helm. His groundbreaking achievements over the past six years have set a benchmark that is difficult to ignore,” he noted.

The Senator praised Governor Fintiri’s leadership as “prepared and purposeful,” underscoring that the administration has succeeded in driving unprecedented development across all sectors and institutions in the state.

According to him, “For the first time, Adamawa is recording simultaneous progress across critical sectors—education, health, agriculture, human capital development, and infrastructure—under a single administration. The pace and balance of development are unmatched.”

He added that these efforts reflect not just political will but the Governor’s sincere commitment to public service. “This advancement is a reflection of the Governor’s altruism—he believes in honest, effective service to humanity. That’s why the results are speaking so loudly,” he stressed.

The Senator also gave high praise to the Governor’s infrastructural policies, saying, “His decisive steps in transforming infrastructure are visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. These initiatives will be remembered by generations to come.”

Referring to Fintiri’s achievements in various sectors as “indelible,” Senator Yohanna stated that the Governor’s legacy is not merely administrative—it is visionary. “Sir, without exaggeration, allow me to respectfully add to your titles the suffix: Pilot of Sustainable Development,” he remarked.

He called on all citizens of Adamawa to rally behind the Governor, saying that such leadership should not go unsupported.

“Dear Adamawans, we have the best at the centre of our State’s leadership. It’s my duty, your duty, and our collective duty to support the government of Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. Leaders like him are rare.”

He urged citizens to shun divisive tendencies and instead focus on building a united, progressive Adamawa. “We must reject violence, ethnic division, or nepotism in any form. Let’s build Adamawa together with sincerity and unity,” he said.

Senator Yohanna rounded off his message by reaffirming his respect and loyalty to the Governor, describing him as “The People’s Governor.”

“Congratulations to you, my boss, Your Excellency the People’s Governor. Congratulations to Adamawa State. Congratulations to Nigeria.”
