Nigerian guitarist Ifiok Effanga, popularly known as Fiokee, is mourning the tragic loss of his younger sister, Emem, who passed away at the age of 32 due to domestic violence. The talented musician took to social media to share his sorrow, revealing that his sister suffered in silence and never spoke about the abuse she endured.

Fiokee posted a heartfelt tribute alongside a picture of himself and Emem. In his emotional message, he expressed deep pain, regret, and frustration, emphasizing that no amount of justice could bring his beloved sister back.

“My heart is shattered. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but my sister is gone. She was taken from us by someone who claimed to love her. I had no idea she was suffering in silence. She never spoke about the abuse, and now it’s too late,” Fiokee wrote.

He urged victims of domestic violence to speak up and seek help before it’s too late. “I know fear can make you stay quiet, but silence can be deadly.
