Four-year-old girl has a strop after being woken up from afternoon nap

This is the amusing moment a young child was filmed waking up looking incredibly grumpy. 

Four-year-old Carlyn Mapili was enjoying an afternoon nap at her home in Pasay City, the Philippines when it was decided she should wake up. 

The youngster, however, was not impressed by the intrusion and announced her frustration by frowning, folding her arms and angrily pushing out her bottom lip.

Carlyn’s aunt Pamela and her grandmother attempted to placate the young girl without success.l 

During the adorable video, her grandmother can be heard saying: ‘Don’t be like that, it’s not nice, you will look like Tweety Bird.’ 

However, Pamela said the strop did not last long. She said the youngster returned to her ‘usual jolly self’. 

She added: ‘My niece was very grumpy when she was woken up. It took her a few minutes to get over it but then she was happy.’
