Haske TV is Ours - Says Taraba MOPPAN Chairman.
The Taraba State chapter of Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria MOPPAN has visited the office of the newly established private TV station, Haske TV in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
Chairman of the association Adamu Bashir who led other members, explained that they were in the office to express their joy excitement over the establishment of Haske TV in Taraba State which he described as long overdue pointing out that the giant stride was not for the owners of the station but to the entire people of Taraba State in particular and Nigeria in general.
Adamu Bashir who Showed encomium on Engr. Sabiu Mahmoud Bello who is overseeing the new media station for his zeal and commitment to media development in Taraba State promised that MOPPAN would support him to actualize his goals.
In his remarks, the chairman Guild of Artists, Mubarak Idris added his voice on what the MOPPAN chairman mentioned describing the new private TV station as the first of its kind in Taraba State.
According to him, those in the entertainment industry would benefit more from the TV station than any other person affirming that the acceptance so far recorded by Haske TV from people showed the station would perform more than expectations.
Mubarak Idris further explained that MOPPAN as a body would do everything possible to support Haske TV through series of promotional activities for the station to start on a sound footing.
In his response, Engr. Sabiu Bello who is overseeing the activities of the new TV station appreciated the Taraba State chapter of Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria for the visit which he described as a tremendous success to the station and asked them to consider Haske TV as their own.
He told the visiting filmmakers that he has had passion and interest in the entertainment business since childhood stressing that he had practiced motion picture activities since time immemorial.
Engr Sabiu Bello further told them that even though, Haske TV has just secured license, the station would compete favorably especially in very near future with other media stations that carved a niche for themselves in media industry in Nigeria like TVC and Arewa 24.
He thanked MOPPAN for the visit and asked the leadership of the association to convey his Goodwill message to all their members and urged them not to relent in their prayers for the success of Haske TV.
