Johanah Napoleon Calls for U.S. Intervention to Address Haiti’s Security Challenges

Renowned wellness entrepreneur and spa owner, Johanah Napoleon, popularly known as “Ms. Jay,” has urged the United States government to assist Haiti in tackling the country’s escalating security challenges.

In a recent telephone interview with our correspondent, Ms. Jay expressed deep concern over the ongoing violence in Haiti, emphasizing its impact on both local and international interests.

As a certified healthcare and wellness practitioner, she highlighted the urgent need for solutions to the country’s high rates of kidnapping, armed robbery, gang clashes, and insurgency, which have led to the loss of innocent lives and widespread destruction of property.

“The economic consequences of insecurity affect the region as a whole, not only Haiti but also the international community,” she stated, noting that the deteriorating security situation has driven away investors, further weakening Haiti’s already fragile economy.

While acknowledging the efforts of Haiti’s interim government and security forces, Ms. Jay stressed that external support was crucial.

She appealed to the U.S. government and other regional partners to provide the expertise and financial assistance necessary to restore stability in the country.

Ms. Jay also called on Haitian youth to play a more active role in the nation’s political landscape.

“Haitian youths must stand up and be counted while making a difference in our national polity. They must unite to ensure the right people are supported in political parties and voted into office,” she said.
