The government has also said exit classes will resume August 4 in secondary schools.

Federal Ministry of Education spokesperson Ben Gooong said this in a press release made available Monday to The Gazette News

SS3 students will have two weeks to study for the West African Examinations (WAEC) exam according to Mr Gooong.

Recall that THE GAZETTE NEWS reported on how the Nigerian government reversed its earlier decision on school reopening. This also said no Nigerian school would take part in the earlier WASSCE scheduled for 5 August to 5 September.
