When an artist does not care about popularity and hype, it means we can wait for something special coming from them. Multi-talented Nigerian-born artist and South African based Khalee Ali recently released her new LP Old Ways, and the 62-minute journey is epic, spiritual, and awakening altogether.
The artist uses mixes of smooth and rhythmic bars along with pop beats, dance elements, and power drill. His lyricism is unapologetically honest, while his sound is heavy and mature. Ali’s impressive vocals are soul-stirring and, in some parts, even heart-breaking.

The artist’s hard work, raw talent, and selfless dedication make it impossible not to feel moved by his craft.
“Old Ways” is the sonic representation of my mind and of all its obscure secrets, intimidating lies, darkest fears, obsessive love, psychedelic fantasies, peculiar dreams, and nightmares, all in sixteen tracks. So please, let’s go back to the old ways,” explains Ali.
