Senator Ishaku Abbo representing the Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone has called on Adamawa Students to be tolerant in all they do, promoting peace and unity among themselves.

Abbo made the call when students of the Department of Political Science from the Adamawa State University came for an excursion to the National Assembly in Abuja.

“It is important for all of you here to know that poverty, disease, hunger doesn’t know your religion, doesn’t know your tribe, if disease comes and there is no good hospital, no good doctor, no good equipment, whether you are a Christian, whether you are a Muslim, whether you are Chamber, whether you are Kilba, You’re Margi, You’re Higgi, whatever tribe you belong to, you would die, because there is no health delivery”, he said.

The Senator further mentioned that “today, that the enemy is not the Fulani Man, it is not the Higgi Man, It is not the Chamba man, It is never a war between us and them. Our enemy as humans is the diseases, its the hunger that kills people, it’s the poverty that perverts our land.”
