Mother Abandons Child at Hotel Reception in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command is seeking public assistance to locate the family of a child abandoned at a hotel in Demsa Local Government Area.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the child was left at the reception of People’s Hotel, Nasarawo Demsa, by a woman presumed to be her mother.

The woman reportedly arrived at the hotel and soon after disappeared under the pretense of going to buy food for the child.

“The Adamawa State Police Command is seeking collaboration to locate the family of a found child abandoned at the reception of People’s Hotel, Nasarawo Demsa. Any useful information that will aid the investigation and help trace the child’s parents or relatives will be highly appreciated,” the statement read.

The Police Command has urged anyone with information about the woman’s whereabouts or the child’s family to contact the Police Public Relations Officer via 08065604764.

The incident highlights the need for community vigilance and cooperation to reunite the child with her family and ensure her safety. Investigations are ongoing.
