The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has informed Nigerians that Naira Marley and other cybercrime suspects will soon be charged to court as a result of their statements to the Crimes Commission.
It all began when “Am I A Yahoo Boy” crooner, Naira Marley took to his Instagram page to post a comment, stating that “Yahoo Yahoo” is not a crime.

The statement made by Naira Marley caused a lot of controversies, leading to popular Instagram Influencer, Tude Ednut, who condemn Marley’s act of promoting fraud.
Also reacting to Tunde’s post, Davido and Zlatan who were on Marley’s side, attacked Tunde with their comments below.
Shortly after Tunde’s comment, Naira Marley collaborated with Zlatan to release the contentious song of the moment, “Am I A Yahoo Boy” and a video to back it up.”
As the story went viral on social media, Ruggedman also joined Ednut to strongly condemn the promotion of fraud by Naira Marley. Ruggedy Baba reiterated that fraud is not acceptable anywhere in the world and the act gives Nigerians a bad name abroad.
Ruggedman in an interview with Hip TV said, that a “young upcoming artist” like Naira marley, shouldn’t be celebrating fraud, something the whole world is frowning at.

The media thought Ruggedman’s advice will go a long way to changing Marleys perspective on cyber crime but surprisingly, it rather led to war between the both of them.

Naira Marley’s support for “yahoo yahoo” led to his arrest by EFCC. His arrest linked to the arrest of Zlatan, Rahman Jago, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses, and Abubakar Musa.
It is suspected that Ruggedman arranged with EFCC to arrest Marley but on an interview with TVC, he discredits the claims of having anything to do with Marley’s arrest.
