The Technical Aid Corps scheme, operational for 37 years, represents a cornerstone of Nigeria’s soft diplomacy strategy. This initiative has consistently delivered technical expertise across crucial sectors including health, education, and infrastructure.

During his comprehensive tour, the NTAC Director General engaged with high-ranking government officials. His interactions included meaningful discussions with key stakeholders such as Zanzibar’s Minister of Health, Mr. Nassor Ahmed Mazrui, and Tanzania’s Minister of Education, Ms. Lela Mussa.

“This Scheme is not only a strong testament to Nigeria’s commitment to regional and global development, its operationalisation also underscores our nation’s leadership role in fostering solidarity and shared growth among nations of the world,” Yakub emphasized during his diplomatic meetings.

The NTAC’s volunteers play a crucial role in this diplomatic ecosystem. Their expertise spans multiple sectors, providing targeted support that addresses specific developmental challenges in host countries.

By fostering meaningful partnerships, Nigeria continues to demonstrate its commitment to global solidarity. The Technical Aid Corps scheme serves as a powerful instrument of soft power, bridging gaps and creating sustainable developmental pathways.

The delegation’s comprehensive approach involves detailed assessments of current programs and potential future collaborations. Each interaction represents an opportunity to strengthen international relationships and showcase Nigeria’s technical capabilities.

President Tinubu’s vision of promoting sustainable partnerships finds robust expression through these diplomatic efforts. The NTAC’s work represents a strategic approach to international relations, emphasizing mutual growth and collaborative development.

As the mission continues, the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps remains dedicated to its core mandate. The ongoing engagements promise to yield significant diplomatic and developmental outcomes, reinforcing Nigeria’s position as a proactive global partner.

The journey through Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zanzibar symbolizes more than a diplomatic tour. It represents Nigeria’s commitment to shared progress, technical excellence, and meaningful international cooperation.
