Ubale Mohammed, a wanted kidnapper, has been apprehended by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Taraba.

Ubale terrorized the Karim Lamido Local Government Area, keeping a number of people hostage at various times.
After months on the lam, the infamous criminal was apprehended in the Garau neighborhood thanks to intelligence.

Residents praised the NSCDC for the operation and requested that he be prosecuted, just as Hamisu Wadume, the kidnap kingpin, was.

According to State Commandant Mohammed Waksha, Ubale smashed his sim card and threw his phone into a river after being apprehended by officers.

Waksha said that the corps was looking for more gang members and that hoodlums would be chased out of Taraba.

Other security agencies were also on the lookout for Ubale's thugs, according to the NSCDC president.

The perpetrator was turned over to the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
