The National Universities Commission as a body in charge of accrediting courses in Nigeria universities, on 12th July 2021 accredited the faculty of law and legal studies of Taraba State University.

Mr. Gaddafi Ibrahim Tanko, the director-general, Directorate of Media, Strategic Coordination and Projects Implementation LAWSAN says the approval was brought to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Vincent Ado Tenebe by the executive secretary of the National Universities Commission, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed.

The president Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) Taraba State University chapter, Rt. Comrade Emmanuel Ransome Lambajo congratulates law students and acclaims the Vice-Chancellor of the institution for his unwavering effort towards securing accreditation.

He also commends Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for the support and urges the governor to protract the vice Chancellor's tenure so that he can finish his ongoing projects and novel developmental steps in the university.
