NWFL: Adamawa Queens Smash Kwara Ladies In A 3-0 win

With a 3-0 triumph over Kwara Ladies on Thursday, Adamawa Queens earned their second victory in the 2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship.

The Fintiri Queens won their second game of the NWFL Championship thanks to a hat-trick from Marvelous Duru.

In the second minute of the game, she scored her first goal.

Adamawa Queens were awarded a penalty in the 71st minute, and Marvelous Duru scored from the spot-kick to extend their lead.

Marvellous completed her hat-trick seven minutes later when she rounded off Kwara Ladies goalkeeper Onagun Basheerat and slotted into an empty net.

With six points from two games, the Adamawa Queens are in first place in the 2021 NWFL Championship table.

Naija Ratels FC defeated Heartland Queens FC 2-0 earlier in the season to take second place.

On Saturday, June 26, 2021, they will face Kwara Ladies in their second game.

In a bid to return to the top level of the NWFL Premiership, Adamawa Queens will play Heartland Queens FC and Naija Ratels FC in their final two games.

The top two teams in the 2021 NWFL Championship will be promoted to the top level, while the lowest two will be demoted to the NWFL Nationwide League, which is the third tier.
