Governor Fintiri Receives Appreciation and Regret from Pastor Biyasa Abraham
Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has received a letter of appreciation and regret from Pastor Biyasa Abraham, President and Founder of House of Refuge International, regarding his recent appointment to the Adamawa State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board.
In a letter addressed to the Governor through the Secretary to the State Government, Pastor Biyasa expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve on the Pilgrim Welfare Board.
He highlighted the honour and privilege of being chosen, acknowledging that the appointment reflects Governor Fintiri’s keen ability to identify and assemble skilled individuals who can contribute to the development of Adamawa State.
“I wish to gladly appreciate you for the favourable consideration to be appointed as a Member of the Adamawa State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board,” Pastor Biyasa wrote, noting the significance of the appointment in enhancing the lives of the people in the state.
However, Pastor Biyasa regretfully requested to be replaced on the board due to his ongoing commitment to reforms at House of Refuge International. He explained that taking on both roles would divide his attention, and he did not want his responsibilities as a board member to suffer.
“I will not like the assignment you have given me as a Member of the Adamawa State Pilgrim Welfare Board to suffer because of the myriad of tasks before me. To this end, I will like to crave your indulgence to get a replacement for me on the board whose attention will be undivided,” he explained.
Despite his request for replacement, Pastor Biyasa reiterated his admiration for Governor Fintiri’s leadership and the progress made under his administration, describing the Governor’s impact as unparalleled in the history of Adamawa State.
“Your Excellency, I must note that your impact as a Governor is second to none since the inception of Adamawa State. You are one governor I will be proud to work with, given the indelible mark you have made in different facets of our developmental evolution as a State,” Pastor Biyasa stated.
The letter concluded with Pastor Biyasa’s assurance of continued prayers and support for Governor Fintiri’s administration, expressing hope for future collaboration.
This development underscores Governor Fintiri’s efforts to assemble a talented team dedicated to advancing the progress and development of Adamawa State.
