PAWECA Urges Beneficiaries to Use Conventional Bank Accounts for Data Capture

The Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) has instructed individuals participating in its programmes to ensure they provide conventional bank account numbers for enrollment.

This requirement applies to the Data Capture exercise for PAWECA’s Fintiri Business Wallet, which is set to run from November 11 to 16, 2024.

In a statement, PAWECA Director General Dr. Michael Zira announced that the exercise will take place at secretariats across the 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Adamawa State.

This initiative aligns with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s commitment to empowering youth and women throughout the state. As part of these efforts, the governor recently confirmed that PAWECA will distribute N50,000 business grants to 100,000 beneficiaries between November and December 2024.
