The first end of the month PDP stakeholders meeting held over the weekend in Maiha local government of Adamawa State lamented that the ruling party is dead in the local government area.

The PDP zonal chairman, Hon Adamu Waziri, and the PDP Maiha LG chairman, Hon Bindowo Wuroladde are said to be among the key stakeholders that cried fault against poor leadership in Maiha local government.

The stakeholders observed that it is embarrassing to the PDP the lack of progress and development in Maiha.

The development the members warned, is capable of killing the party.

People in Maiha have also contributed to the accusation by the members, of the ruling party, where they said there is no state presence in Maiha.

"The PDP government abandon Maiha, the governor has not visited the LGA even once after his election and the delay in the appointment of the district head of Maiha over three months after the court judgment perceived as politically motivated, are daily bringing down the confidence the people of Maiha have on the ruling party in both the LGA and the state.

Maiha Council chairman Idi Amin is accused of being a flat character who only prided himself with praise singing the governor more than the governor's media aids.

Hon Idi Amin is not happy with the unexpected attack that may not be unconnected with abandoning the executive members of the PDP

However, the sympathizers of the council chairman said that the attack on the chairman is politically motivated. They said that the chairman is loved by the people of Maiha for his good work.

Whatever it is, there is more decamping to APC in Maiha, indicating that PDP is losing grip.
