Google will release a brand new range of laptops with 4K screens and a unique rubber-grip design.
Details about the laptop, called Pixelbook Go, leaked today ahead of Google’s media briefing next week.
The laptop will be 13.3 inches with a USB-C charging port, headphone jack, and 4K screen using Google’s ‘Molecular Display’ technology.

According to leaked information, the Pixelbook Go (pictured above) will feature a 4K resolution display and an unusual rubber grip case.
The most distinctive feature of the new laptop, which 9to5Google was given advance access to via an anonymous source, is its shell, which features a rubber grip surface to make it easier to hold and more stable on surfaces.
According to the site, ‘it’s a ribbed texture that feels somewhat similar to a washboard or the roof of a dog’s mouth.’
The laptop will have a 2MP camera and two far-field microphones to support voice controls.

The device will come with a range of processor options from Intel, including Core m3, i5 and i7 options and ofter local hard drive options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
It will also feature a 4K screen using Google’s ‘Molecular Display’ technology, a more power efficient form of LCD technology first introduced with the Pixel Slate tablet in 2018.
While third-party manufacturers like Lenovo have released Chromebooks with 4K displays, the PixelbookGo will be the first by Google.
Expect even more news and announcements next week, as Google is scheduled to announce a full range of new devices in New York on October 15th.
The reveals are rumored to include the Pixel 4, an updated version of its smart speaker home assistant line, Nest, and more.
