Ishaku abbo, Senator representing the good people of Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, offers his sincere congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in his district and throughout Nigeria on the occasion of Eid al-Adha this year.

Muslims are urged to be grateful to Almighty Allah; being alive to celebrate this day, according to a statement issued by Michael V. Bolgent, the Senator's Media Aide.

Abbo also urged Muslims to take advantage of the festival to pray for peace, security, stability, and triumph over the scourge of poverty in the country, and urged them to remain firm and devoted to the goal of an unified Nigeria.

The Senator encouraged Muslims to take advantage of the opportunity to reach out to the least fortunate.

"Muslim brothers and sisters, always be guided by the attributes and lessons from the life and times of Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW), which symbolize holiness, peace, love and tolerance", he said.

The Senator calls on religious leaders around the country to continue preaching peace and harmony to their congregations and to show love for one another.
