Primary 5 Pupil from Adamawa Becomes Overall Best in NTIC Mathematics Competition

Adamawa’s little Fadimatu Arfat Abubakar who hails from Yola South LGA of the State is now the overall best in the just concluded 16th Edition of the National Mathematics Competition (NTIC), making her family and the entire people of Adamawa state proud.

The 11 years old Fati of colonel Isa Ahmed Memorial school was said to have made astonishing records making her the first ever in the history of Adamawa state to have won a competition of this magnitude.

According to her Father, Mallam Abubakar, Fati is a bundle of gifts by God whose presence in the family is a comfort and hope of better tomorrow.

In a chat with little Miss Abubakar, she opened up on her dream of becoming a medical Doctor and that her father served as a motivational force who makes sure she becomes what she really want to be.
