UPDATE: Kidnapped District Head of Vom Regains Freedom hours After Abduction

Da Gyang Balak Gut
Earlier, The Gazette reported that Da Gyang Balak Gut, the District Head of Vwang in Plateau State's Jos South Local Government Area, was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
Mr. Gut, the Da Gwom Rwei of Vwang, was reportedly stopped by armed men on his way home in Vom on Sunday night, just a few meters from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies' (NIPSS) entrance.
He has then whisked away to an unknown location, and no one knows
who the attackers were or if they were making demands, as has become
commonplace in recent years.
In a new update from the BYM Chairman Vwang District, the paramount ruler has regained his freedom.
This was stated in a message which reads;

God be the glory, we appreciate you Lord for the safe return of our
Paramount Ruler. His Royal Highness(HRH) the Gwom Rwei of Vwang. Da
Gyang Gutt Balak. who was kidnapped yesterday around NIPPS Kuru. We are
indeed grateful to Almighty God for His infinite Mercy for protecting
the life of His Royal Highness. We from Vwang District we appreciate you
all for your prayers and the show of love you demonstrated during this
trial moment. come and join us in celebrating the wonderful work of God
upon us. He is back Strong, healthy, and congratulations to all of
you...
