Relationship Between Resources and Respect in Marriage

A woman complained to a humanitarian worker her travails in marriage. According to her, her husband has another wife and has been treating her as a piece of rag. He doesn't discuss anything meaningful with her, spend time in her room or treat her as a husband treats his wife.
After narrating her ordeal, the humanitarian worker gave her a coupon with which she will be entitled to a pay of #27,000 in four tranches annually. He advised her that once she got her pay, she should set aside 7#000 for her upkeep and give her husband the balance of #20,000 so they can plan together on what to do and how to do it.
Eventually she was paid her first tranche and she did exactly as advised. When they eventually meet with the humanitarian worker, she was full of joy and excitement and narrated how her marriage is now a paradise. That her husband often sleeps in her room and consult her frequently for advise and other decision making process
Sometimes, majority of the problems women face in
their matrimonial homes is that some men do not think women do have any
important contributions to family upkeep and improving the fortunes of
the home. Some women do not help themselves in that regards too. Most
women think only about spending, spending and spending

must that a man and woman must have a joint account or monitor each
other's financial lifestyle, but rather, planning their finances
together will go a long way in creating a special bond between them as
well as helping them achieve life dreams together
