The revocation will take effect in a month’s time, as part of efforts to promote development within the state. Fintiri made this statement during the inauguration of Satus Hotel in Karewa, Yola North Local Government Area.
While launching the hotel, the Governor highlighted his administration’s successes in enhancing security, which has fostered socio-economic growth and attracted investment, particularly in the hospitality sector.
He commended the late Jibrin Abdulaziz Satumari, founder of Satus Hotel, for his dedication to societal progress and inspiring younger generations.
Fintiri also issued a stern warning to property owners who have failed to develop their lands.
He noted that such lands would be revoked, and the owners compensated with plots in more distant areas, allowing others to contribute to the state’s development.
