Ishaku Abbo, a senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, expressed deep shock over the sudden death of Alhaji Adamu Muazu Modibbo, the gubernatorial aspirant of the People's Democratic Party in 2019.

Abbo said this through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Michael V. Bolgent said the Chieftain's passing away is a major loss to Adamawa State and the country at large.

Adamu Mu'azu is an honest and sincere individual full of lessons and sacrifices who has been readily available at all times to help the state’s growth.

The senator urged the family to be consoled by the fact that the late Modibbo served his fatherland meritoriously in many capacities in his lifetime, thus contributing immensely to the growth of the State.

“I pray that God grant him eternal rest, and give his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.” He said.
