Senator representing Adamawa North senatorial district, Ishaku Abbo, has through his official facebook page shared with Nigerians the progress of his visit with other Nigeria lawmakers to The Republic of Djibouti.

During the session, (Political and Economic and Sustainable Development) was among other things deliberated on.
“The Importance of Young People’s Contribution to the Promotion of Democracy, Peace, Security and the Rule of Law in African Countries” and “Promoting a Diversified Economy and the Local Processing of Basic Commodities to Create Employment for Women and Young People”, were key issues discussed at 42nd Conference of Speakers of the African Parliamentary Union in The Republic of Djibouti.
Also, the Committee of Women Parliamentarians also deliberated on “The Role of Parliaments in Reducing the Material and Neo-natal Mortality Rate in Africa“.
