The controversy exploded after a girl who was assumed to have died two years ago walked back to her parent's house yesterday.
After a disease was collected, the girl identified as Winnie died and the body was taken to the mortuary and later to the cemetery, until she was buried.
The girl was said to be buried in the cemetery of Mitingo just for her to go home to the surprise of her parents and neighbours.
The girl admitted that it wasn't she who buried but a banana tree as hundreds of people gathered in the Central Police where the parents and the girl were waiting for permission to do a DNA check on the girl.
They also tendered the death certificate and birth certificate to the police to help find the facts.
