Sunday Dare, three others in Police Net
Four alleged cultists from Ogun State, including Sunday Dare, have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.
On Friday, they were apprehended by police operatives from the Lagos State Police Command's Alakuko Division.
The alleged cultists came from Ogun State for revenge attacks on other rival cult members at the Junior Secondary Schools in Akinyele, Alakuko, Lagos State, according to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Lagos Police Command.
Tosin Balogun, 18, Sunday Dare, 15, Olayinka Jubril, 14, and Sani Ayomide Babatunde, 15, are the suspects.
Tosin Balogun and Jubril Olayinka attend Odewale Community High School in Ijoko, Ogun State, while Sanni Babatunde attends Tunik International School in Dalemo Alakuko and Dare Sunday is a Dalemo Alakuko tailoring apprentice.
According to the statement, police operatives learned of the expected reprisal attacks on their school's rivals and rushed to the scene as soon as the suspects arrived to cause chaos and attack their goals.
”Items like cutlasses, weeds suspected to be Indian hemp and assorted charms were recovered from them,” it said.
