Tinubu Policies Spark Bold Praise as APC Leader Lists 5 Key Gains

Tinubu policies are finally bearing fruit, according to Salihu Isa Nataro, a senior figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former gubernatorial candidate in Kebbi State. Instead of criticizing President Bola Tinubu, Nataro says Nigerians should recognize the signs of growth and stability already taking shape.
Speaking out firmly, Nataro accused the opposition of ignoring improvements just to score political points. He believes they are downplaying the real effects of Tinubu’s reforms.
“Even when there has been an appreciable downward slide in the prices of foodstuffs and essential commodities, the leaders of other political parties continue to paint a negative picture,” Nataro said.
For him, ordinary Nigerians are beginning to feel the impact of the government’s actions—especially in food prices and basic needs. He described Tinubu’s policies as well-thought-out and rooted in economic common sense.
Nataro highlighted infrastructure as one of the strongest achievements of the administration. He said better roads are helping farmers get their goods to market faster, which is boosting trade and reducing food waste.
Improved road networks, according to him, have opened new opportunities for rural farmers and traders. He believes this alone is enough to prove the president is working.
He also spoke passionately about the future of agriculture in Nigeria. Tinubu’s focus on mechanized farming, Nataro said, is a major step forward. He noted that young people are being trained to use new technologies to improve food production and earn better incomes.
“By paving the way for mechanized farming, which would be monitored directly from the Presidency, the President is also actively supporting youth through the introduction of advanced technology,” Nataro said.
He urged Nigerians not to politicize these changes, but to support them. According to him, such moves are long-term investments that will build a stronger country.
Nataro then turned the spotlight on a missed opportunity from Nigeria’s past. He recalled how the country once had a deal with Russia to train young Nigerians in space technology and nuclear energy. That deal, started under President Yar’Adua and Russian President Medvedev, was never approved. Nataro believes Tinubu can revive that vision.
He said this could offer Nigerian youth exciting careers and help the country develop reliable electricity through nuclear energy.
In the area of tax reform, Nataro praised Tinubu’s Advisor on Tax Matters, Taiwo Adewole. He called Adewole “the best hand on the reform team,” and said he’s helping the government follow global best practices in revenue management.
Nataro also praised the teamwork of Finance Minister Wale Edun and Central Bank Governor Yemi Cardoso. He credited them with helping to stabilize the naira and reduce economic pain across the country.
He didn’t hold back when blaming past governments for today’s hardships. “It is obvious that the previous administration sat on foreign loans and allowed monumental corruption and hunger in the country,” Nataro said.
He said those leaders failed to act wisely, and their mistakes are now Tinubu’s burden to fix.
On security, Nataro said President Tinubu made a smart decision by appointing Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as National Security Adviser. He believes Ribadu brings discipline and clear vision to Nigeria’s fight against crime and terrorism.
In a surprising appeal, Nataro called for the return of Farouk AbdulMutallab—the Nigerian serving a sentence overseas. He asked Tinubu to arrange a prison swap so AbdulMutallab could serve the rest of his sentence in Nigeria.
He also supported Tinubu’s statement in Katsina that economic growth, not guns, is the real weapon against insecurity. Nataro said it’s poverty and joblessness that create conflict, not just criminals.
He wrapped up his message with a plea for fairness. He asked Nigerians to judge Tinubu based on facts, not political rumors. According to him, the country is already moving in a better direction, and more gains are coming.
Nataro’s message is clear: It’s time to stop the noise and start seeing the change. He says Tinubu policies are not just talk—they are working.
